Here’s another of my cooking videos. This is actually the third in a series…making meatballs, sauce/gravy and now lasagna. Once you have the meatballs and the sauce made, the lasagna is a breeze. Nothing more satisfying that having a piece of lasagna for a Sunday dinner. When I was growing up in East Harlem, we had dinner at 3:00 PM in the afternoon. In fact most Italians where I grew up ate dinner between 2 and 4 PM. Nowadays we have dinner at a more American time of 6:00 PM. I guess Italians were used to eating their meals early and then taking a siesta. Between the meal and the homemade wine we drank, we were ready to take a nap. Why not try making all three recipes and have a regular Sunday afternoon meal Italian style.
